Hiya! I’m so excited to share 5 of my favorite things!
1. Sparkle shoes! I’m really loving the idea of some pretty sparkle shoes!
Oh my word, these blue pumps make me want to wear heels. I’m normally a flats kind of girl but… for these…
2. Fun make up trends for winter 2011! I’ve been playing around with make up (especially eye shadow and blush) and I love love love the look for this season!
I love the color on the eyes in the top photo and how they pop! The bottom one makes my heart melt for how lovely and natural!
3. I love coffee, right? A lot of people ask me what I like to make it in so I thought I’d share. I use a stove top percolator. And, upon shopping around for another one I came across these beauties!
4. Today Andrew and I are going to do a little sledding, my favorite kind is the toboggan! It’s SO fun!
5. A. E. Horton, I love that right now you’re off having boy time and snowboarding. I also love that you called me to tell me how fun it was and that you love me! You’re pretty much the greatest thing to include me in your macho-guy-time-snowboarding day! Forever ♥!

I was supposed to babysit today but, we have over a foot of snow at our house! C-R-A-Z-Y! I’m loving every sweet second of the snow magic.
Andrew worked for the better part of the day plowing at SAM’S but he’s home and resting on the couch, it’s actually quite adorable!
I love this photo! It captures the magic of that particular moment. I love our little house with it’s sweet lighting and fun colors. *sigh* And that man sleeping away is SO wonderful!
While he was gone I took on my very first ham, which is in the oven and smelling GREAT by the way, and I took a ton of photos. Here are a few from the snow today.
I think my favorite might be the wee cardinal. She was too lovely not to photography. I love days like this! I have a book and a cup of coffee calling my name! Happy Monday!

My favorite place to have a cup of coffee is (believe it or not) at Olive Garden. They seriously have the BEST coffee I’ve ever had. Plus, it’s a special place for Josh and I since it’s where we have had (and still have) a lot of date nights enjoying their fantastic coffee. I just like the atmosphere with the Italian music playing and the low lights and all. Good times. :)

I just updated our Fox & Owl blog with some of the MOST amazing photos I’ve ever taken. Today my dad and I went up on the Parkway and found the most breathtaking scenes of nature. Holy smokes. I was blown away.
The snow came up to my knees in some places and I was bunny hopping around in it, making giant foot prints. We went about 5,000 feet up and it was probably 10 degrees and the wind was blowing. Can I tell you a secret?
I’m never more happy than when I’m out like that, freezing cold, camera in hand, with the reckless abandon of a child and the whole world in front of me!

My darling brother, Nathan, whom I love and adore might be one of THE best writers I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.
That being said, he uses his blog for… let us say, musings. Rather aggressive musings.
He hasn’t updated it very much but he’s determined to update it at least once a week (as a new year resolution). I’m pretty stoked on it.

Oh my goodness I have a total style crush on “modern sofas”! I think it stems from always having a ridiculously patterned couch while I was growing up and from the vintage couch we have right now. I went from pattern extreme to vintage! Check these lovelies out!

I’ve never been a huge fan of 70s pumpkin on furniture… until now!
This is my FAVORITE! I absolutely love how bold the color is and the bit of bling at the bottom, just the perfect touch to the pink!
It’s still snowy here, I’m waiting for us to lose power. I just can’t wait to go play in it when Andrew gets home from plowing! Eeeek!
