Circles.

Good morning, friends.

I’m subbing at Long’s Chapel today! I’m so excited to see my wee babies and get some excellent kid fellowship in, in the next two days. I’ve missed regular kid activity, and have discovered that I must have kiddos in my life on a regular basis. They’re just too precious with their open minds, sweet hearts, and innocent thoughts.

Can we talk about how it’s 63 outside today? Like right now. It’s 9 in the morning and, rather than flipping 80 it’s 63 with a predicted high of 78! Praise God for some relief from the absurd heat that has been plauging us!

A and I have been trying to find a place to live. I’ve never lived anywhere other than my house and school, so this is new for me. I’m learning that you’re not going to find something you love for the price you want and the location you want, right off the bat. Which is annoying. We’ve seen several places and it’s so difficult to make a choice – which is better… the place in Asheville for 700 with limited space or the place by the main road at 800 all included that was recently remodeled.

Pro – Con lists have become my best friend. I’ve also learned through this process that I have to have a bit of down time during my day. If I’ve been going and going and going I must have a “shut down” period so I can process what I’ve seen, learned, etc. If I don’t have that, then I have a moment later in a drive way somewhere. (Totally melted down twice yesterday in drive ways… apparently that is the choice of melt down sites, who knew?)

Andrew looked at me yesterday and said, “being a grown up, huh *eye roll*.” Cheers, Love.

Like I said above, I’m excited for the carefree love of a child today. Bring on the snotty noses, temper tantrums, and crying fits! Woohoo!
