I’m longing for the sixties…

I finally have wireless back (eeek!) Let’s see, such a busy tw0 weeks or so I don’t really know where to start…

We lost internet-got it back- lost it again-gave up on it-went to Tennessee-got knives-got rained on-ran in said rain-fixed up the studio a little-bathed the animals-worked…a lot-talked with old friends-had lovey married time-found Hershey kisses-got lots of phone calls-read out loud from books-memorized the freckles in our eyes-sang lots of songs-slept in the car-had several cups of coffee-bought a new coffee maker, it’s my favorite green-with two cups to match-enjoyed the clouds-and been in love

I think that is an okay summary of things that have been going on. I’m longing for the 60′s like crazy. I love the idea of no digital cameras, film, fighting for rights, living in a relatively safer and quieter time, being a real hippie, not shaving and having it not be a big social deal, and wearing amazing vests with hippie head bands. Happy heart.

Home!

Honeymoon was amazing! We really got a great feel for Savannah, Andrew experienced Charleston, I fell in love with it all over again, and we got amazing photos!

I’ll post some stories and photos later on. We got back a little bit ago and I have unpacking to do before attempting my Monday goal list! I really love my wee chalkboard, it’s so handy for making lists and notes… it’s so fun to leave my Mr. notes on also!

Honeymoon Announcement

We have decided on Savannah Georgia! I’ve never been there but Andrew has spent a little time there. I am soooo excited! We’ll be down there for about a week and we’ll come home through Charleston, SC – my favorite city in the entire world – because A hasn’t spent much time there and I want to show him around. I swear, Charleston is like coming home before you get home! Wonderful!

I can’t wait to really see…

This Spanish Moss – I have a special attachment to it because my hair always looks like it in humid situations. I’m looking for new frizz control… any suggestions?

These lovely doorways – taking photos of doorways in cities is one of my favorites! Maybe there should be a photo series?

And of course, eating here. I love Paula Deen and I don’t think I get enough butter in my life!

We’re really excited. Thinking we’ll leave tomorrow and be gone for about a week! First time trying out Priceline.com – any ideas of where we can get good deals on hotels? Let me know in the comment section! Whew, I’m off to pack! Woohoo!
